Block Party Ramble
I have lost track of the days since I jumped on the plane to head to Colorado for The Alliance Block Party.
There were so many times over the last months that I didn't know if I was going to really make it there. My heart and mind wanted me to go. I needed a real vacation where fun was going to be had.
I was looking forward to meeting so many people face to face that said there were going to be there. I didn't want to let myself down or everyone that kept telling me they wanted to meet me.
My health was the biggest issue I had to deal with. I knew this trip was going to be very hard on my body.
I never said out loud that I would not go. I kept those negative thoughts hidden so I would not get overwhelmed with all I had to do to be able to make it to the party.
Without boring you all with many details I had the time of my life over the last 5 days. I met the most AMAZING people in person. I was blown away each and every day by how giving, kind and generous everyone was.
Here is the list of the wonderful Steemians that made my first vacation in thirty years so special. I will update a few users names as soon as I can so you can find them and give them a follow if you care to.

I have so much more to say but it will have to wait. My Marshmallow bed is calling to me...My body needs rest.

I had SOOOO much fun meeting you, @snook, even if we didn't have as much time to chat as I would have liked.
And I agree wholeheartedly, when I arrived with my bum shoulder, @enginewitty immediately grabbed my bags and took them upstairs for me, and everyone was great.
I felt not only welcomed, but taken care of and valued. A really, really nice feeling.
And, speaking of that, thanks for noticing when I needed some pain relief. I tend to tough it out, since I don't usually use painkillers, which is not always the wisest course of action.
Looking forward so seeing you again, whenever and wherever that turns out to be! Love you, @snook!

OMG.... LIZ DID HAVE A BLAST TOO! LOL. SHE SAID ALL OF YOU WERE GREAT. AND I COULDN'T AGREE MORE, EVERYONE WAS REALLY ACCOMMODATING, UNDERSTANDING. I DIDNT HAVE TO FEEL BAD FOR BEING ME. I FELT ACEPTED. AND I WAS COMFORTABLE. THE HOUSE WAS AMAZING THE WORKSHOPS WERE IRREPLACEABLE. WE HAD A BLAST. I DID GET TO SHARE A GLASS WITH YOU! BUT I KNEW NO DRINKING BECAUSE FRIDAY I HAD LIKE 3 CIDERS AND I WAS SO TIRED THAT NEXT MORNING. BUT HOW AWSOME EVERYTHING WAS. STILL ON THE ROAD. HOME SOON.

I'm so happy she did. It wouldn't't not been the same without her there too. We all were so proud of her winning her scarf!!! She is nuts but still proud of her for going after something she really wanted.
JUST like YOU!!! Your Vlogit presentation was Tops!! You are one of the best teachers I have ever seen. You should be so proud of yourself for all you did while there and just the fact that you made it there!!! and survived to rest the TWO weeks the gypsy lady now says you should!!
My plane leaves tonight. by then it will be time for me to go home and not move to a week too.

Not home yet. My plane leaves tomorrow night. I needed a day to just not move in order to make it back on the plane tomorrow. So I'm trying to post on my tablet and getting high blood pressure. LOL
