I think my article was a bit poorly written as many people got it a bit wrong. But we are truly 0% fee now. We literally only make profit from our own votes. If you make a video that we don't upvote, we literally take 0% out of that.

I agree with pretty much all you said there. I really like your point when you say that not uploading videos for a couple of days, or when not getting the vote from Dtube, you know that there is a bigger reward coming.

I also like the the part of the votes weight decreasing because not only this makes it for a fairer system, making the community grow organically, but also will make the quality of the content to improve.
If people find no motivation to upload 4 videos a day now, they can create more refined videos, with a lot more work and effort, increasing the quality of the content and the platform in general.
For what I see, some people got spoilt with way too many daily votes, and now they feel like they deserve that all the time, when Dtube never promised votes to anyone. We should all be grateful for Dtube support and start appreciating it a lot more.
