Hilery's Cookie Show-Nommy Beef Stew
Delicious and hearty beef stew! YUMMY!
Ingredients:
1 pound beef
1/2 large onion
2 cloves garlic
1&1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
3/4 cup white wine
1 tbsp peanut oil
1&1/2 cup beef broth
2 medium red potatoes
2 large carrots
2 sticks celery
1&1/2 cup peas
salt & pepper
Heat pot on medium high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of peanut oil. When the oil is hot, add beef cubes and allow beef to brown. add 2 pinches of salt and pepper. Add chopped white onion to beef. Mix and allow to cook for 2 minutes. Add finely chopped garlic. Add Dijon mustard and cook for 2 minutes. Add 3/4 cup of white wine and cook for 3 minutes. Add 1&1/2 cups beef broth stock, stir and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour (until tender) with the lid on. Add potatoes and 1 cup water. Add carrots and celery and let cook covered on medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Add peas and taste. Add salt and pepper if needed.
