you can purchase a domain for next to nothing these days and hosting can be rather cheap too. @gmuxx would be a great person to talk to about this. However from what I know, there are services that are using steempress and you can write for them, this way avoiding the need to have your own site. To be honest my recommendations are, if you are serious about making it online, you need your own blog.
