STEEMIT JOURNEY, where i was than to where i am now.

Thought id share some insight in what i have discovered so far on the steemit platform. It can be very easy for new steeminians to get discouraged and reduce their uploads or leave the platform all together. However i have realized that consistency of steemit is the key to success. watch as i explain how i started and how my thoughts have changed along this journey.

I spent 4 year building my youtube channel without proper returns. I can spend at-least 1 year on Steemit. I am not here for quick money. I think its been already 15 days since i started on steemit. I have one blog post. Currently i am concentrating on making comments on others posts and build a strong presence in the community. Soon i will start writing blogs as well.
Thanks for the encouragement. I think the hardest part is just coming up with content to post everyday. Otherwise I have been really enjoying it so far.
Sometimes, I honestly want to quit posting on steem when I spend hours ona post for it to only receive 30 views, 1 comment, and less than 10 cents upvote but then I realife, hey atleast someone found my post worthy enough to view it, someone found it worthy enough to comment on it, and someone found it worthy enough to upvote it. That as to be something. Yes, there would always be people that spend less time on their post and makes more but who cares. All I want is to share my thoughts with the world and that takes time.

well my journey here on steemit is quite nice, on my inductory post I had a nice outcome but after that post it has not been really that good but it is still worth it. I joined in december and I am happy to be here , would love if we can start a community here @orora

Consistency is key! I absolutely agree with you! I actually just wrote a similar post about overcoming instant gratification that society encourages and throws in our face. If we beat it, we can make it through the discouragement that we may face when we don't get rewarded right away! Great content! You just gained a new follower! :) ~Hratch
Great video and very honest. I just started on Steemit this weekend but I will keep your thoughts in mind and not get discouraged when I see others' posts doing well. I will keep posting good content and wait for Steemit to gain exposure and grow exponentially, which it will soon!
Beautiful... when i started it was very discouraging because it was just my introductory post that earned the highest which was about 16... but i kept singing that is what my blog is about, i was discouraged but kept posting, i was consistent and efficient but i m still waiting for that break through thanks @orora for sharing
