It was good to hear all about your campaign. I agree that many people aren't ready for crypto and how the Steem blockchain works around it. I also believe that the average person shouldn't join with the intention of earning lots of money, because they can't always come to grips with the amount of work and time it takes to build an account to that point and then just walk away. So for most people there needs to be another starting point.
I'm guilty of just sharing links to facebook for my homesteading posts and it's to an audience who are unlikely to want to use Steem! It would be great to reach a point where we can ask are you on Steem (or partiko etc) yet when we want to be able to connect, instead of Facebook, messenger or Instagram.

When we do go mainstream this will be the case. For now it would be awkward and you would have to do alot if explaining and it can be exhausting at times
Engagement from everywhere to everywhere is the important aspect of being able to demonstrate that Steem is not the typical social media site they are used to. Show them to have freedom and privacy and eventually they will come. As communities continue to be built here and attract users, it will grow!
