How Steemit And Steem Are Different
As I scroll through the "new" feed on steemit I realize far to many new steemians are still confused about the difference between Steem (the blockchain) and Steemit (the platform) so I have decided to do a quick video explaining the difference.
If we are going to keep this #newsteem excitement going we have to realize there will continuously be a stream of new members who don't understand some of the terms we so thoughtlessly throw around this platform, assuming everyone understands them.
So I have decided to go back and do a few videos to help explain some of the more confusing parts of steemit, starting with the main problem, distinguishing the difference between steem and steemit.
My next information video will be the difference between the tokens: Steem, Steem Power (SP), Steem Backed Dollar (SBD), so make sure to subscribe if you found this video informative because I will be doing more to help out the newbies :0)
Take care friends!

STEEM is "Donald Glover" and STEEIT is "Childish Gambino". Is that correct??
LoL, sure.. I mean Donald Glover is a lot more than a rapper now so I guess this would work..
The best way to describe it would probably be to think of Steem as a train: The Steem blockchain is like a Kaboos and Steemit would be the first train car.. or maybe even an extra coal car, it is important (especially right now) but not what actually powers the train.. 😉
