Can we make a torrent webplatform ?

Hey, I was thinking if we can make another torrent hosting web client for files that we want to share,
We can back the platform by steemit and we can encourage more people to host the files there like a dropbox.
This layer could help the steemit community to develop more and to be able to share a file with other members. inside the client, we can build another function to host steemit network files if the user wants to do so.
we can discuss and come with an answer and we can build the future. I believe we have many programmers and people that know exactly what this is for the rest it will be a way to give back to steemit .
Please come with suggestions and improvements to my idea.
