What are your thoughts on privacy by default vs privacy as an option for fungibility? When it is default, every coin is the same, but when it is an option it seems private transactions could be discriminated against. There is also a smaller pool of private transactions than there could be which reduces the privacy.
Privacy has to be by default in order to have true fungability yes
Eventually the US is going to have to accept and figure out how to report for sales tax, etc when business accept cryptocurrency payments. It would start with having single receiving address. Thus it needs NOT to be a CT. However for personal public transactions CT might be ideal - makes it exactly like cash transactions. I see the choice more a personal vs business consideration.
Love the podcast! Keep up the great work!
Great content as usual thanks Chris. Saw something funny today and wondered if this crypto kid is actually your kid -
