Four years ago in 2014, we were travelling in Tokyo at around this time too. Experienced some heavy snowfall similar to this year's.
It was a really nice experience (having just came down from Hokkaido a few days earlier)
Many trains were delayed and our flight back home was delayed by 10 hours. Narita airport was so fullllll of trapped tourists.
