like I said my intentions are not to profit or "steal" from content, Rick and Morty is released for free by the creators as it is, it takes me time and effort to convert upload and ensure these videos are put on properly and I am uploading cartoons that people around the world would otherwise not have the chance to see, for example here in canada we have many blocks for what content we are allowed to view, -- and seriously, cartoons and media is art to me, sharing art in this manner ensures that itll be preserved and always exist,
-sorry @jonny-clearwater but in this day and age I dont believe im doing anything wrong, all the "money" or steem i make off of these go right back into the steem power and help ensure my kids will have access to cartoons and laughs its all relative, im running out of space, where better to store cartoons then the blockchain!
any effort to regulate content based on a view of that perspective completely negates the whole philosophy behind the decentrailzed platform we are choosing to use, it takes power time and energy to be on steem, and I want to use it to archive my favourite cartoons, thats my right as a user. im sorry to see steemit becoming centralized and policed. like if i were to legitimately steal your content and call it my own Id be at fault, but i preface every upload with a similar statement, I do not claim to own this content simply uploading to preserve and share the art of classic cartoons ... at which point in time does beethovens music go from being a his own to public domain,. Man im just trying to add cartoons and lightness to this otherwise heavy heavy world. please dont throw down bureaucracy and bs. just watch some dexters lab and laugh for a minute . many a love

If you aren't disabling profit, you are absolutely intending to profit.
It's theft.

dtube doesnt have an option to demonetize. And if I do not remove the "Steem Power" from the account its not profiting, I feel you are missing the point of steemit, it is a social network designed to share stuff with people, friends and family. not strictly to profit, and thats what I am using it for, to share an art form that I am passionate about, some people share that passion so its getting upvoted and seen.
the point of @cartoonTV is to have a hub on the blockchain of classic cartoons that everyone can access

If the "Steem Power" isn't being given to the creator of the content, then I don't care what you do with it...it's profiting from another's content...plain and simple. That steem power you earn from this theft allows you to make money on the platform.

Like @Brado said i cannot find the option to not have a payout when uploading on dtube, im new to this platform. Would my venture be acceptable if I donate the steem every month to adultswim and warnerbrothers>? I am sad that this has turned into a debate about rights and money when the reason for me coming to steemit and dtube was freedom to share art,.. to get away from facebook and netflix which are so limiting, Here i am not so limited, and people do care about it thats why it is getting upvotes.
