My boyfriend is the one with the experience - I am new to this - i read Farm City and in that book the bees and the animals did not interact - but there are a lot of homesteaders on here who probably know as well - you could go on homesteaderscoop.com and ask in the Forums - or on Discord - homesteaderscoop is on there - there are a lot of homesteaders selling products from steemit who are on there who could probably talk to you more in detail.
