I Created a Giant Battery Bank from Recycled Laptop Batteries
This video covers my DIY attempt at creating a high capacity battery bank for usb charging. This video will discuss how I built the device as well as some reasons why you might want to build it differently than how I did for safety reasons. I feel it is important to discuss projects that may be unsafe or even projects that have failed so that others may learn from our mistakes. Another important topic in this video is the battery management system (BMS). This video is more of an in-depth project #vlog than a how-to. At least that is how I see it. My intent is that you can learn from what I did and create something even better and safer than what I have made. I spent many hours putting this together and editing the video so let me know what you think and if you have any other ideas for this project.
Disclaimer: Be sure to follow all safety precausions. I am not responsible for any harm done in attempting to build or from the finished project.

that's creative man.. never though of it.. lol
Very clever making a battery bank out of old batteries. I think my power bank I have right now is a 10.000 mah.I can understand why you say you must be careful when prying it open as you don't ant to damage the batteries and let the acid or liquid come out. You are obviously technically minded and you make it look so easy.
Thanks for watching and the encouragement! Hope you liked the video!
I really enjoyed it. I have an electronics guy at work who could make me one of these so I am going to show him this video tomorrow.
Haha nice!
What a creation buddy it is just amazing never thought of doing so. You are great so as your creation
brilliant
Clever clever clever
This is original content. Hope you like it!
What a creative innovation, I had someone talking about things like this long time ago, but you just made it more real to me by your innovation.
I will give it a go too and I will keep you posted on my progress.
Appreciate your support! Be sure to follow all precautions if you make something like this! Feel free to post about your progress and linking to it under this video. Have fun!
Definitely, I will share how it goes with you.
Great!
This is a very nice idea. Please continue with other electronics projects. I think we need more electronics channels on DTube
Thanks so much. Appreciate the encouragement
Thanks for sharing this @immawake. After watching it I can conclude indeed that it is not a how-to video but a more in-depth video of putting together a battery :) Thanks for putting a lot of effort and time to this very informative video.
Right on. Hope you enjoyed the video. Ya I spent many hours on editing this video alone :D
Haha I can see that yes! Respect man! Keep up the good work.
