I assume this is likely going to be reversed, if it continues to get press coverage. But I doubt they'll reverse many of the demonetizations and bans for other users that may have also been done erroneously, because they likely won't get as much publicity.

His demonetization has also likely either been done by an algorithm, or someone that's likely been poorly trained. Or a combination.

Or perhaps it was done completely intentionally, and they find live style coverage of protests and marches and the such to be non-magnetizable now, because of their potential objectionable content.
