A Look Inside #36: The Time Between
Have you ever thought about the space between right now and a goal? Or right now and a deadline on a project. That space that we seem to float around in and woller out and make it feel like home. It's almost like our entire lives are spent in between.
There are many things that I could think about today as examples of what I am talking about. Stacie D and I are coming up to a deadline to be off of the farm we are currently on.
We recently found out that the farmer that we are here helping was diagnosed with cancer, and has since sold the farm. Our last day here will be in early May. So what the heck do we do in the mean time.
We also have a huge project that is growing more everyday, and we are expecting the release of our website version 2.0 to come out at the end of March and then beta in April. So what the heck do we do in the mean time?
There are many things that we are doing. Continuing to be a husband and a dad. Continuing to make amazing knives. Continuing to take care of and love the animals on the farm. Continuing to boost morale inside of the Inner Blocks community. Continuing to keep people engaged while we all wait.
Sometimes that is just what we have to do. We have to wait. Things take time. We are always in such a rush to get things done that we forget that those things take time to do. Life isn't instant. We have to always be mindful to continue building up and forward.....and to enjoy the process!
