STEEM, D.Tube & Brave will DESTROY YouTube!
We are entering interesting times with the youtube platform. Demonetisation, censorship, algorithm changes and youtube deliberately burying certain videos they don't like in the search results.
DTube, although still very new now offers a increasingly serious and advantageous alternative to youtube, enabling anyone can earn steem dollars from popular video content. Already many people are making more money on steemit than on youtube, despite having mature youtube channels. @dannyshine is one great example (and also someone I recommend!).
This is a strong indication of how powerful this new platform is, especially as it is still very early days and not even version 1.0 yet. The decentralised nature and blockchain technology free content creators of the issues we are currently seeing on youtube today. However it still lacks some of the major benefits of youtube, mostly in terms of audience and performance. But given time, D Tube has the ability to shatter the Google's monopoly on video sharing: it is simply a better model.

One thing I did not include in this video but am impressed with is Steem's 3 seconds transaction time. That's even faster than ripple and by far one of the most promising looking altcoins in the market right now for long game investments.
I have one question on d-tube. Is the earning on d-tube is also for only first 7 days just like on steemit. or is it for a lifetime as it is on youtube?
it's the same as on steemit, surely steem has some possible improvements, which can be made in the future..
I think after x amount of time, in this case a week there needs to be a final point where the earnings are taken or something.
But i might be shortsighted in this, but i don't see why this can't be reset every week (ofcourse people that already upvoted can't do it again, or at least not influence it again.)

Good question, and I dont know the answer as I'm still learning the platform but hopefully someone can chime in and tell us both!
