Vlog #99: The amount of liquid STEEM is going down.
Liquid STEEM is STEEM that is not powered up. It's STEEM that is free to flow from wallet to wallet and can also be sold on exchanges for other cryptos.
Two days ago the amount of liquid STEEM was 72.9 million. (out of a 259.6 million)
Today that's 67.9 million.
That means that 5 million Steem was powered up in the last 2 days. Great!
I consider STEEMpower to be one of the best investments you can make.
Some of this powered up liquid STEEM came from Poloniex when they opened withdrawals again. But not all of it.
Less liquid STEEM is a good development in my mind.
It shows me STEEM is wanted enough to power it up but also leaves less liquid STEEM on the market in the process.
Less of a product on the market that is wanted means the price will go up at some point.
At least that makes sense to me.

Power Up is the smart thing to do, most of the crypto users are here for the long run. The STEEM price in the last days was very cheap, some steemians bought it to Power up.

Well Steem power is the live force of steemit platform and for those who wants a perfect investment with greater ROI along with less volatility and risk, Steem power would be a perfect investment for them.
I just wondered why Steem price is wavering around $1-$1.5 for so many months. May be a lot of people are taking their steem power out of the system by dumping them for other cryptos'.

@exyle Like you I Love STEEMIT and anything to make less liquid STEEM available is beneficial to ALL. I know that right now what I need to do is EVERYTHING that allows me to accumulate more Steem Power. I find myself looking around for more and more things to sell that I don't need to clutter my life. Result of that will be more STEEM POWER !!
great information @exyle, it's nice you points out about liquid steem is used for power up in last 2 days and that's fantastic news, it also good for overall steemit growth and it also shows peoples are very much interested to use the steemit blog and i also agree with the point that steempower is one the best investment one can ever make, i think buy and hodl now is a really wise decision as with the increasing popularity of steemit we should definitely see a 2$ steem in a very near future, thank you very much for giving us very useful information and suggestions.
You are right @exyle if STEEM will stay here and on the stock exchanges it will be a little shortage and from here the price should go up. I think this should be important for everyone, since the more expensive STEEM is, the better :)
Oh yeah, the new feature made it possible to shoot STEEM in any amount and many began to use it, but I think there is no need to hurry @exyle, to maintain a high price!
your points are valid, when the liquid steem is going down and used in powering up process, it's no doubt a good sign both for steem and steemit blog, i think we see a good boost in steem price at the point when Steemit is prepared for many clients then it really takes off. else it just takes after what the general market is doing. enjoy your time and have a very happy week ahead my friend.
