Vlog 154: Bitcoin is taking a breather and Alts recover.
I hope the markets have calmed down a bit because I need it :)
What a rollercoaster we been through this week.
For me, it was one of the craziest weeks in crypto ever.
Bitcoin is now hovering around $14.000 - $15.000 and the alts have time to catch up.
Eth is back $470 from a $380 low and Dash is flying.
Dash btw is the coin that got away from me.
I was in a boat at Steemfest 1 with Hilarski and his wife when he said to me I should check out Dash. A good coin.
Dash was $10 at the time.
I did not invest.
Dash today is $750.
Auch! lol.
But then again....I guess I'm not the only one that has stories of missed opportunities, early sells and what not.
Luckily I did not miss Steem and Steem is doing very well. Around $1.80 atm.
I am still selling all my SBD for STEEM. The rate is crazy.
I bought 53 STEEM for 10SBD this morning.
I hope this will be a calm crypto weekend.

It’s been a rollercoaster for sure! I’ve woke up in the midddle of the night a couple of times with various nightmares about cryptocurrency... Time to chill on the apps I use to check the prices I think. 🤣
Dash got away from me too... ha ha!
I seriously need to chill on my apps too. I just need to buy incrementally and let go of the short term gains and losses. It's too easy to psyche yourself out.

This pause is only temporary. As the weekend start the hedge fund investor are out of the market. Recently as crypto are recognized more and more big player like these are coming to the market. $15000 will just be a number once Crypto will become mainstream.
We all have missed opportunities with cryptos, I am glad that you are satisfied and happy with your Steems today.
Calm market would be ideal... but it would be a calm before the storm... I am guessing few upsurges are coming again in the near future.
@arnel Its not really too late, its just that everyones just focusing on the bigger currencies, you have to look for something like Siacoin, TenX, Vertcoin, OmiseGO, NAV, Substratum, Verge, and my favorite = ARK
its never too late investing in crypto-/ alt currencies you just have to expand your view!

Oh yes, I agree with you that now is a great time to purchase the STEEM and increase your voting power, another possibility may be for a long time. As for Bitcoin, correction is very necessary, in order to restore the balance of other crypto-currencies. Thank you @exyle
Excellent vlog my friend, it's nice to see that at last some momentum shifted back on alts from bitcoin and that's good for crypto space and we might see some more correction in bitcoin, well i am also so happy with current SBD's rise and yest it's great time to buy some more steem and increase steempower with SBD's because might this rise won't last long and it's perfect time to buy some steem, you also talk that you won't able to buy cheap dash but on the other hand you make a wise decision at that time to buy steem at a extremely right time and i hope steem has a huge potential and to me steem will be at least a future ETH, have a very cheerful and joyful weekend ahead my friend, Stay blessed
i know we all have those missed opportunities, but the way the crypto market has been it is almost hard to lose. While you may miss out on one currency, you may gain just by holding in another. Let's face it with crypto one can go from feeling like a genius to feeling like an idiot in a matter of minutes. So exciting but a bit exhausting. So many opportunities so little time, right?
