The Washington Nationals are taking control of the NLCS. After winning game one behind a terrific pitching performance by Anibal Sanchez, the team sent Max Scherzer to the mound.

He no hit the Cardinals into the 7th which kept the team in check. The Nats mounted enough offense led by Adam Eaton to win 3-1.

The series is now 2-0 as it moves to Washington.
