How To Earn The Best Possible Curation Rewards Via DTube – Make The Most of Your Steempower!

I wanted to share this knowledge today, as I think it’s an area that many aren’t really aware of and this can really enhance your earnings on The Steem Blockchain.

STEEM is an active coin. By powering up and actively using your Steempower, you can create compound growth on whatever you hold. This is just one of the underappreciated things that makes STEEM valuable.

OK, here’s how I believe that you can make the best curation rewards.

Curation rewards are earned by upvoting posts that do well at the right time.

You want to get in before the other big votes come in.

However, if you upvote too early, you miss out. For every minute you upvote before 30 mins, your rewards are reduced.

You want to find creators that you enjoy watching or reading their stuff and that consistently gain good upvotes.

Many of the automated big upvotes are set to happen at the 30 minutes mark.

Therefore, if you are going to automate your upvotes (which you can do at https://steemauto.com) it is good to set your upvote to 29 minutes.

There are two reasons why DTube creators in particular are great to follow in this way.

Firstly, you earn about 70% more curation rewards on DTube than on any other platform.

This is because DTube used to take a 25% cut on reward payouts. However, for a while now, they have been returning this to curators.

So, on most Steem posts, the reward split is 75%/25% to the author and curator. On DTube it works out around 58%/42% - so a big opportunity.

This is even better, because DTube often rewards consistent creators with BIG upvotes. These almost always happen after the 30 minute mark.

So, if you can find those creators on DTube and get your upvotes in at the right time, you can maximise your rewards.

Currently, I believe that this is a great opportunity to make the most of your Steempower.

Of course, it also pays to go in and comment on the posts you are supporting, even if your upvotes are automated. Many creators will upvote good comments, giving you a double whammy of rewards.
