Well, Ecuador is really a great place to travel! And in case I missed you saying it, the US Dollar is their official currency. I love the different regions that this market covers!
Great place for souvenirs! It is wonderful, all the alpaca product they have. So soft and so very expensive here in the States. Thanks for taking us along with you and showing off Ecuador!

Hi D! I just linked up my two market posts this week to you market Friday post. Sorry I sometimes forget. Yes, one of the smartest things little ol' Ecuador has done in the last twenty years is simply adopt the US dollar as there currency. Hence they have the strongest currency in all of latin America. I'm sure Venezuela and Argentina only wish they did that years ago. Also it's a huge plus for visitors or retirees from the states for obvious reasons.

I've got another week or so in New York with family, then to my beach front condo in Salinas Ecuador for a month ($260 on airbnb, modern, all included, for an entire month!) then adventuring south through 5 countries and popping out in Rio D Jenero! I've got nothing but time, and got to do something right? haha
