DTube REAL — Vlog #4 | Stuck in the Snow [Second Time Filming in Public]
Hey friends, the adventure continues.
This was just supposed to be a fun experiment in doing a little timelapse up the mountain road and over to my friend's house to play some music. And this little bit of snow started falling.
Unfortunately, because of the slushy sub-layer, everyone on the roads was fishtailing, and it quickly turned into a pretty crazy situation. When faced with the prospect of going all the way up and over the mountain in that mess, and then returning later in the day in even more of a mess, I decided to drive back down the mountain, and go home.

They are not very generous with snow days, lol. 20 years of Mn winter and not a single snow day, not even for the Halloween snow storm that dumped 3 ft over night in the early '90's. Driving sucked for the rest of the season because they couldn't get the compacted to ice, snow off the roads, so they turned into ruts at -20F.

Next time, i was supposed to go out and do things today, but here in the okanogan we had a huge dump of snow and the roads arent safe for leaving town so its a lazy day. Lots of time to browse steemit. Much love. Hope it goes better next trip out!
