YouTube Alternative?

So it look like I'll need to have some kind of video type account with YT to host my videos and then link them in a post...

I have no interest in starting with YouTube so it looks like I'm going to go with Bitchute or Dtube. 

Looks like Dtube is catering to Steemit so I'll start there.

First Steemit Lesson learned ...

Anyone have any experience with either of the alternative platforms?  

Pros/Cons for each?

    Ok so it looks like it was dtubes interaction with Chrome. Tried MS Edge, got the snap uploaded but still couldn't post the video. Tried Bitchute.. no issues.

        Aaaaaand I'm back to YouTube. While BitChute was easier to use I found that you could only post the link to your video where as YT video gets embedded in the post. Way better user experience so...back to YouTube for me unfortunately. If BitChute embedded video or if Dtube was more reliable I'd use either instead of YouTube
