Embed DTubes videos in websites
In the chat the question has been raised how DTube videos can be integrated in websites. Since I do not feel like writing a tutorial, I have written a browser extension.
Now another browser extension called DTube Share is born.
Where can I find the extension?
At the moment, in the Chrome Store.
How does it work?
- Install the extension
- Make a right click on a DTube video
- Click DTube Share
- Copy the code to your Website
- Done
If you want more functions, then you can gladly support me:-)
It just does what it should, there will be no wonder in 60 minutes.

DTubes Videos in Webseiten einbinden
Im Chat kam die Frage auf wie DTube Videos auf Webseiten eingebunden werden können. Im Prinzip ist das ganze recht einfach. Da ich aber keine Lust habe ein Tutorial zu schreiben, habe ich lieber schnell eine Browser Erweiterungen geschrieben.
So ist schnell mal eine weitere Browsererweiterung namens DTube Share entstanden.
Wo finde ich die Erweiterung?
Im Moment im Chrome Store.
Wie funktionierts?
- Installiere dir die Erweiterung
- Mache ein Rechtsklick auf ein DTube Video
- Klick DTube Share an
- Kopiere den Code in deine Webseite
- Fertig

Es macht gerade was es soll, bei 60min Arbeit wird jetzt kein Weltwunder entstehen.

Danke. War schnell gebaut da danach gefragt wurde. Ich hoffe ja das DTube das noch einbaut :-) Solange kann man es ja so machen.
Wird dran gearbeitet weiß ich aus verlässlicher Quelle. Solange ist deine Lösung aber super praktisch!
Ok, alleine ist das dann wohl sehr schwer und der wird ein mächtigen Workoverload haben.
Coole Erweiterung. Dtube hat ja echt potential, steht aber irgendwie noch echt am Anfang. Neulich spielte das Ding einen Tag gar nichts....
Ich weis auch nicht wieviel Leute da dran entwickeln. Die haben sich auch viel vorgenommen. :-)
Aktuell arbeitet nur @heimindanger dran. Das Projekt soll aber Open Source werden in naher Zukunft. Werd mich auch wohl mit einbringen.
Ja würde das Erweitern aufjedenfall einfacher machen! Vor allem muss man dann nicht immer auf "Browserplugins" setzen. Und direkte Erweiterungen sind dann auch etwas stabiler :-) Dann warte ich mal auf das Repo, dann kann ich da Sachen direkt beisteuern.

Kennst Du Dich auch mit dem Auslesen der Infos (Votes, Voter, Link usw.)aus einem Post aus?

should this extension post to steemit? that's my question?
what should it post on steemit? the extension helps you to insert DTube video to your website, wordpress, drupal ... or every content management system
Why? Because if you post video on DTube you got created post on Steemit with a picture linked to DTube video. It should be better to embed video in post from my opinion....
hmm sorry, i dont understand your criticism or you missed what the plugin do :-) The Problem what some peopel have is, they want to embed DTube Videos into their Wordpress Page or Drupal Page. But they dont know how they find the Video URL.
At the moment, DTube does not have a proper share function yet The Plugin helps with that Problem. I hope it clears a little bit for you :-)
