A Facebook Cryptocurrency?! What do you think?
Facebook is developing it's own cryptocurrency. News has been covering it a lot the past couple days.
No one really knows exactly how it will be utilized as a service for its users. Some say it will be like a loyalty points program while making it easier to make peer to peer payments. I'm not sure why you'd need a cryptocurrency to do that, though.
What are your thoughts? Do you think this is good for crypto or just a corporation trying to make another revenue stream? Comment your thoughts.

wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. We need to remember why we opted out of those platforms and into crypto in the first place. These mega corporations got filthy rich, and now use their wealth and power to stifle free speech, push their political ideals on the masses and generally just be assholes while offering nothing to the commoner. We need to starve the beast
No I not want this Facebook more... I end my life there long time back.
and I'm sure it will be very isolated Cryptocurrency. You can't even share information there more when you get expelled or pages be blocked for several days, how can you use that payment tool there? :))
Ah I forgot, you have to ask them permission to make every payment, then they will check if it is needed and if it is not politically bad for them... and if it is then you will be abandoned :))

could just be a payment method like bits from twitch but i dont think it will be decentralized or traded on the crypto markt
