It can bee a little daunting when you first start out on here, as the dynamics are a little different to other social media sites. Earning consistantly on here is possible, but it can take a little while to build up. Communities are a great way to do this and get support. You earn through upvotes, but everyone has a limited amount they can give out per day and the value of their vote is dependant on their Steem Power (SP).
Tags are important to help your posts get seen. I write the newsletter for @homesteaderscoop and came across one of your posts under the homesteading tag. Besides the @homesteaderscoop community, you may also be interested in the vibrant, @naturalmedicine community which includes homesteading and other alternative lifestyles. I also co-run @homeedders for the homeschooling community. It's fairly new, but our main focus is to encourage homeschooling content.
I see you also create music. I'm not as familiar with the communities for this area, but suggest adding the tags #creativecoin and #sonicgroove on your music posts.
When you get chance, consider making an #introduceyourself post to tell us a bit more about yourself and catch some more attention with the tag.
You've been visited by @minismallholding from Homesteaders Co-op.
I’ve given you a shout out in Homesteaders – Living Naturally newsletter. I hope you enjoy your journey on Steem.

Thank you for the shoutout!
