Blood River in Dhaka (Bangladesh)

Today , In Dhaka (The Capitol of Bangladesh) large scale of animals sacrifice their lives due to Islamic festival of Eid al-Adha. Animal sacrifice is a part of this festival. The people of Dhaka used parking lots and garage to kill animals and flow the blood into the streets, which turn the city into River of Blood.Authorities in Dhaka said they had established hundreds of designated sacrifice spots in the run-up to the festival to make it easier to clean away blood and animal carcasses. But the main reason for this blood river is the poor drainage system in Dhaka. Authorities did not have proper drainage system. Today due to heavy rainfall, blood of the animals mixed with the water , which makes it look like blood river. The authorities have to take the necessary action for their drainage system.
