Los Andes: August 21st 2019
Completing the border crossing gave me a new visa. I would have liked to have crossed in a warmer season but the pressure of visa expiry kicked me over the mountains at the first weather window.
There is a stark beauty of the Andes in winter however, so in hindsight, I'm glad I went when I did.
Generally, my experiences are more appreciated in hindsight when all the uncertainty has gone. Uncertainty provides adventure but it also robs you of fully appreciating the present moment.
