I look at the positive side in that there is still plenty of Steem to capture from the reward pool if we actively and consistently engage!

Unfortunately, high inflation dilute the actual value of the Steem you buy with your fiat money!

My pleasure, it is a topic that is hard to understand. In resume, the inflation rate will decrease in the next 20 years in the parameter set on the Steem blockchain.
Seems the biggest problem is not enough participants to spread the inflation around. I mean 8% inflation is great if you have 8% or more growth. The problem is how do we get more users?
