Rehearsing fight scenes.

in #dtube5 years ago

So i have just started learning how to shoot video and maybe we are diving heads in but we want to make a short feature film. Prior to that we want to make another even shorter video of a fight scene and even prior to that we are rehearsing some fight choreography.

I do not know how to draw screens yet and i doubt i would be good at it and since we are doing everything ourselves i just try to get those angles on camera while rehearsing instead of drawing them. For now it seems it is streamlining the process but i guess we will have to wait and see how it works our for us.
Sometimes we go way too crazy during rehearsals and it is a small excerpt when we decided to have some fun and do some crazy shit.

Never mind the production quality on this one just thought it might give you a laugh or two :)
Shot with Sony A7RII and Rokinon 24mm Cine on Cine 4 profile for fast grading.

You are making misstakes at the 180 degree rule in cinema. If you look that up, it will probably help you out a lot already.

Thanks mate, that is a great advise, did not know about rule and just a few videos about it. They say it could be broken on a purpose to disorient the viewer also, do you think fight scenes and shaky dynamic camera serve the same purpose as breaking 180 in such cases?
