Belly Dancing at Canyon de Chelly, Arizona

As we toured around the Great American West, we found ourselves at the amazing in its vastness - and lack of tourists - Canyon de Chelly, home of the Navajo people. The location seemed just right for one more of our belly dancing videos, and we set out on a short hike towards the view point location of the Spider Rock. Strange coincidences - or maybe they are not coincidences at all, rather a wink from Mother Universe - always tend to happen to us. And that day wouldn't be an exception. As we were walking towards the video shoot location, we saw a crowd of people - about ten of them were girls dressed in traditional Navajo outfits. It appeared that we were witnessing Miss Teen Navajo 2018 coronation event! These beautiful girls asked if they could take a picture with me (I'd just been about to ask if I could take a pic with them!) - and here you have it - two Miss Teen Navajo and a Russian belly dancer in the midst of Navajo Land. Life can be so surreally cool sometimes - if you only choose to see it that way ;).
