BIG NEWS!!!! BECOMING AMBASSADOR FOR PROMO-STEEM IN LONDON!

Ok soooo much exciting stuff happening lately!! BUT I have wanted to share this news for ages!!! I am going to become a @steemit-ambassador for @promo-steem and I am so exited to be working with these amazing people Matt @starkerz and Stephen @stephankendal!!! Thank you for thinking of me, and it is such an honour to be taking over London! :))

I am happy to be a part of promo stream and make it as successful as we can! I have a lot of ideas on how I can make london successful and make it bigger and better. We also had a meet up this friday organised by @redrica, which I will post about tomorrow.
Here are some of my ideas that I will be working on straight away! IF YOU ARE FROM LONDON! I want to hear from you!
Number 1
I want to create a strong community of women on steemit. I think we need more ladies on the platform and I can hopefully inspire a lot of you and we will become bigger and stronger. Since we talked, I have brought two amazing women to the platform @yasminep and my little sister @ingaaa, so make sure to give them as much support as you can! I will be creating a group for women that want to get into steemit, and also for those already existing ladies on the platform! About this in a while...
I will be having more london meet ups where we can discuss new ideas on how we can promote steem. I also thought about doing a cooking class where I can teach you on how to make a dessert or a dish where we will bond and talk about steemit wearing steemit merchandise.
In spring and summer I will be arranging boot camps for steemians around london and parks with @ivargereiko! It will be aimed at all fitness levels and it’s going to be an amazing way to promote steemit. So if you were thinking about getting fit, it is time to think about joining fitness group.
I also thought about doing talks in big universities about steemit, or any other big events where we can spread the message to youngsters. I finished London School of Economics and I would love to talk about my journey and success I had on steemit platform as a woman that had no previous knowledge of crypto or blockchains.

Overall I am super excited to work with promo guys and hopefully get you all on board! It doesn’t matter what country you are based in, we will support you and help you! Get you started and the aim is to get bigger whales to support this huge project, so steem can grow bigger. At the end of the day we all going to benefit from this as steemit expands, the value of steem will be higher. If you are an investor or suportor or a blogger, the bigger we get the better it will be for everyone!
So please re-steem this post, share the message and message me privately if you want to get involved. I will be creating several groups for London in various areas and huge meetups every other month. ALL SUPPORT WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!

yes there is a london one but i guess we need to do a uk one!!! I am doing a meet up in march so if you are around then, let us know!
Haha, oops, realized I wrote the word "soon" ... when in actuality, I'll be in London for sure from June 8 ... booked my flight from Asia over to London. I'm probably staying for 1-2 months, so June/July is when I'll be around. I'll definitely circle back to you around May to see if you guys set-up a SteemIt London meetup for after June 8 :)

I'm from London, currently at westminster university studying sport and exercise nutrition and I'm doing my thesis on how social media can promote a healthy lifestyle. Your 3 ideas that you listed are definitely great ideas. Unfortunately I live in Australia so can't attend any of your activities but perhaps when I travel to Europe I may be lucky enough to attend a Steemit event/gathering that you host in the future. I think your plan to speak at universities will be a great way to reach the younger demographic that may not have heard or had much exposure to the world of crypto and Steemit.
I will keep following all your posts and Steemit promos. Looking forward to them!

I would absolutely love to. Hopefully there will be many more Steemit meetups by this time next year as I'm planning on visiting first half of 2019 :D

If we were in London still we would definitely be in touch. Bangkok is such a big user of social media platforms especially Facebook. Maybe if Sam spoke better Thai he could help out in this potentially big market. Alternatively, there are other Thai Steemians that's could put their heads together!
An idea for the London one is to meet-up with another Steemian or two and they can show off their part of London (obviously food will be involved - someone that lives in Borough - you and them can explore Borough market in a vlog). Same thing could happen for Brick Lane and Notting Hill etc. just an idea 😊
