Steemit Vlog - Early Morning Musings (Oprah Winfrey, Politics and Crypto)
Another quick vlog that I wanted to put together on my perspective of the day. I feel what we are witnessing is the U.S losing its place as a superpower in the world. I feel like an experiment is being played out on our perception.
Politics
When it comes to Trump I don't even think he wanted the job. He wanted to prove a point and now the power at be are using him to see how far they can take things. He may or may not know this but I hope he does. That would at least explain his behavior.
If it but if it is true that he locks himself in a room, eat cheeseburgers and watches 3-4 TV's at a time then he really is being programmed and he doesn't even know it. At a basic level he is looking for love/acknowledgement and he is not getting it from anywhere.
Crypto
This is going to be a really emotional year for a lot of people getting into crypto. Some will make out big while other will lose. You have to remember that for every trade there is another person on the other side of that trade. The markets were down yesterday but they seem to have picked up a little bit.
Manage your fear and greed. The markets can inflate or crush a person's ego. Just be responsible out there while getting into this wild west market. Be safe and thanks for watching

They are a a bunch of puppets created by Jim Henson... there used to be a "Muppet Show" back in the 1980's that I watched when I was young... the have movies... Kermit the Frog is the most famous muppet.
The Rainbow Connection was my wedding song. My wife & thought it was hilarious. Our parents couldn't believe it.

This is the first post of yours I've found, and I immediately relate to your perspective—I've had such similar thoughts.
"I turned on the news today. Big mistake." lol! Yep. That's how I feel about it, too. Then you asked, "Why do we need billionaires to run our country?" EXACTLY!
The vision of America was to have a government run for the people by the people. Though I think Oprah would do a good job if she were in power (because she does actually care about other people), but I'd be surprised if she wanted to take on the weight of that role. And, yes, I'd LOVE to have a black woman as the next president, though I'm not sure if Oprah is the right woman for it.
"We have to take the system we're living in and change it," you said. Yes. I think crypto is changing A LOT, and it's exciting. You said Steemit is a "working democracy experiment," and I agree. I'm brand new here, and stoked to be a part of this community that IS making a difference.

Oprah doesn't intend running for president. She mentioned that she doesn't have the strength flr that. She also stated that her strength lies in bringing people together and supporting whoever has potentials.
I too love Oprah as an icon and I'm sure she would be a compassionate and wise leader as she has already proven to be but I'm pretty much done with dems and never was on board with repubs so there's that...
The Trump situation is seriously funny. It does really seem like he just wanted to prove a point and now he has no real motives to do anything. Well, we will see how it plays out.
I think it's always important to do your research before investing into a crypto. You must learn about the potential it has to rise. We can't always win trades, but we can always HODL and wait until the prices go back up when they drop:) It's the perfect time to get into new cryptos when markets go down like yesterday.
As me are moving more into a digital age it does feel pretty sure that in the long term the HODL will work out the best. With research it sort of feels too like a waste since everything is so new that nobody really has any clue how stuff will go. But it's highly engaging and fun!I
