I have a Troll, what do I do next?
In this video I talk about my Troll and what not only the Blockchain does, but what you can do to make sure they don't kill your creativity.
Some people are just negative, only feeling better when they make someone else feel worse. Unfortunately as creators, we attract them
You're not a Creator until you've had your first Hater.
It's an easy point, but it's funny how many people forget or overlook it. Use that energy to refocus and blow the "trolls" from your channel.

This was an awesome motivation on how to handle with people like these. I didn’t have a troll yet in the comment section of my videos but I did notice the one you were dealing with.
I guess just keep downvoting and not replying to what they are saying might be the best solution. After some time they will lose interest and leave again. Just like this one. I have just checked his profile. Hasn’t been active anymore for the last few days ;)

Hi Rod, I've had a troll or two in the past on other formats. The way to deal with them is to ignore and as you say, use it as fuel. It's always tempting to fight back but I always tell myself that they do it because they are hurting.
They have some pain in their life and this is their way of letting out that anger. I feel sorry for them more than anything. No one who is truly happy has time or the will to go around comments sections being nasty. Never retaliate, it's what they want because it then gives them validation and an excuse to do it even more.
Very true mate. Best way to kill negative energy is to starve it :)

No growth without the growing pains. I'm yet to have any unknown trolls on my content but something I know we briefly chatted on discord about was me having conflict with someone I actually know in real life who found my account and was criticising my authenticity. I knew eventually people in my real life would come to find my videos and I held a lot of fear around it but all it has really done is put me at a crossroad and presented the question, will I continue to do this for myself? Will I let the thoughts and actions of others dictate my actions or will I let this "seemingly" overwhelming situation strength me? I really appreciated our chat the other day. You helped me find a little more courage in myself. 😊
