Traditional Japanese Jujutsu: Kimon Nage 鬼門投, (variation)
Summary: Here is a henka (variation) to the omote kata (original form), that is from a traditional system of Jujutsu taught at our Dojo, the Takagi Yoshin Ryu. This particular technique is from the fourth scroll in this system, a scroll based on teaching a student how to move into the energy, force or momentum of an opponent's attack and utilize this energy back at them.
This variation is with the use of tomoe-nage, a sacrifice throw from the opponent's stomach.
