Assalamu alaikum my dear friends. I'm excited to be joining the Dev's Teaching Team in week three of Season 20 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge. This lesson is very good. I am a student of business studies and marketing was a big part of my studies while studying this subject. So this is a good opportunity to express your opinion on the topics of your choice. The challenge instructor explained our marketing strategies in detail through which I was able to master the various points of the strategy.

I think marketing strategy refers to the plan and steps taken to deliver a product or service to the buyers or customers. For example, this includes market research for a product or service, target audience, pricing and product promotion. I will discuss in detail some of the mentioned points of the marketing strategies that are planned to make a business successful according to the challenges.

Customer support


Customer service is one of the most important steps in marketing strategy because whether or not your product is familiar to customers or how skilled your employees are, if you cant improve customer service your business will not be profitable.

I think in this case I think about how easy and fast it is possible to get the product to the customer in customer service for managing my business organization. Because the marketing strategy should be decided keeping in mind how much the customer has to pay for buying a product. And when I strategize about it, I can identify the problems of the customers.

If I take an example here if customers have to take a lot of risk to accept my service no matter how good it is then obviously customers will think to look for alternative from my service which is readily available for them.

So we should first of all identify the target audience for my business. And then understanding customer needs and tastes that will drive my business forward immensely. Then changing the pace of business around customer needs and their feelings about the product and familiarity with the brand. Building a place of customer trust is also an important part of customer service, in addition to demonstrating brand acceptance to customers.

However, there are some steps I personally like to take to improve customer service, which I present below:

  • First of all be at least empathetic towards the customer. When you serve customers with empathy, you recognize the emotion behind their questions or complaints, which can make a difference in how customers perceive your brand.

  • Being courteous in interactions is a notable example of customer service. If a customer is treated with kindness and respect, a positive relationship with the customer will be created.

  • Clear communication is also an important aspect of customer service. It is better to keep the language simple keeping in mind the etiquette aspect of customer service.

Professional Hiring


I am currently working as a government employee and freelancer in online platform. But since my educational background is related to business, I plan to expand my work area in future. I intend to do a grocery business in future. As we all know that grocery business is always a popular one because grocery products fulfill our daily essential needs.

If I implement my goals step by step according to my plan in the grocery business then there is a possibility of making a lot of profit in this business. A major advantage of grocery business in Bangladesh is that I can set up this business anywhere. In this case, I think small towns have less number of grocery stores, so starting a business in those places usually has a higher chance of attracting customers. As a result of this, I can create employment opportunities for some people as my grocery business grows.

Regarding job creation opportunities, I would say that no matter the size of my business, its success will depend on the employment of skilled workers. I believe Professional Hiring is not just a job, it's a combination of systems, processes and practices that greatly impact the results of my business.

In this regard, I will appoint staff based on excellence, sense of responsibility and smartness coordination. Who will help improve morale and productivity levels in my business.

Expansion plans


I have to follow various growth strategies to expand my grocery business, and for that I need to create a roadmap. Where business growth measures, financial and control related facilities, technical support, market analysis and capital analysis of business development. I consider the above points as very important if I want to grow my business in the future.

Below are some of the best steps I've taken to grow my business profitably in the future:

  • Right product selection : I will first take the idea about all the products running in the market and I will select the products which are in high demand to attract the customers. Because I have to remember to protect consumer rights along with earning profit of my business.

  • Risk Mitigation : Risk is inherently involved with every business. So there will be risk in every step starting from investment in business. But I have to have proper knowledge of the possibility of risk in any matter so that the risks can be avoided to a large extent.

  • Customer Needs : I believe the core of business is the customer. Therefore, understanding their needs and attitudes is the key to the success of a business.

Here I have my own policy and that is that sales competition exists in all markets as we all know. So my policy is to increase product sales and generate traffic by keeping a limited profit on the products I sell from other sellers. Because I think it's very easy to expand a business if you understand the customer's needs and work accordingly.

Aggressive or soft marketing strategies


Businesses are founded to provide customers with the tools and benefits needed to improve business success. I think that a customer is not only a buyer of my product but a collection of many customers. Because through the referral of a satisfied customer I can increase my product sales. I will not only have a business relationship with a customer but I will go beyond it and establish a friendly relationship with them and then my position will be enhanced. And that I have a place of trust from which I will be able to convert those customers into regular customers.

A trusting relationship with customers will also play a vital role in my after sales service. And if I can provide a better service to the customers, multiple sales opportunities are created. I believe taking care of customers will open my sales doors and grow my business as well.

Customer satisfaction is a blessing for my business. So I present below some strategies that can be adopted to maintain a good relationship with the customers and ensure better service to attract them:

  • I think one should always be honest with customers. A place of honesty and fairness will be created between me and my customers if all the promises made with the customers can be kept.

  • There should be transparency in the dealings with the customers then the business can gain their credibility and it will help to play an important role in attracting the customers in the business.

  • Of course customer feedback should be encouraged and their opinions should be valued. I can improve the quality of service by identifying my business mistakes through customer feedback. And this process will not only build customer loyalty but also provide me with information about their needs and satisfaction.
