One thing that makes someone excel higher in business is the way the person handles customer issues. Customer support is special in a business when handling customer support issues, I would center my approach on the following;

  • Empathy
  • Apology
  • Diagnosis

Empathy: The key to gaining/winning someone's heart is showing empathy as a business owner, I will ensure that I carefully listen to my customers and acknowledge their concerns or frustration. It would be more beneficial to me if I show my customers that I understand the concern of my business that is affecting them. For example, if I say to my customers understand how angry/frustrated you are for not getting what you want runtime, can make the customer happy, valued, and excited and he or she would want to come back and do business with me.

Apology: As a business owner, despite how an issue can be in my company whether it is the customer that is affected or my staff I will seek an apology from the customer. Apologizing to customers will reassure the customer that I value and recognize how bitter they are and how willing I am to resolve issues in my business.

Diagnose: As a business I will ask relevant questions about the reason for my customer dissatisfaction and I will do things by engaging with the customer to know the main cause of his or her Maher. The moment I have a clear understanding of what the problem is I will provide immediate solutions to the problem and by doing so I have won the trust of my customer.

Finally, as a business owner, I will ensure that my customer feels solutions for more solutions which using the three approaches that I have discussed about will be of help to me.


Professional hiring, if any

Well, one thing about business is that as it keeps expanding that is team members become very important to help maintain the scaling operation, standard, and quality of the business as my business keeps expanding it is how I will keep hiring more professionals. Having said so, my hiring plan would be following my business goal, my financial resources, and the long-term of my business.

The goal of my business is to deliver high-quality products and services across the world my goal is to ensure that my customers get the satisfaction they want for me to achieve this goal which means I need to build a team of professionals that aligns with the nature of work in my company.

My hiring plan would be to assess the department in my company that needs additional support. For example, if my company is looking for a way to improve customer support, then I will hire a professional in the area of specialization to help me manage and run the affairs.


Expansion plans

Sustainable growth through strategic market diversification, scaling, and continuous improvement of my business both in customer engagement and others that can help my business expand larger are my expansion plans..

For me to achieve growth in my business I will venture into new markets while I am strengthening the current state of my business. I will do this in different ways such as; increasing the online visibility of my business, creating room for partnership, and marketing campaigns. I will also invest in technology to meet up with customers' needs.

At the moment I don't have a business, had I been I had a business that is currently making profits, and generating me steady income, I would have made sure that 70% is reinvested back into the business.


Aggressive or soft marketing strategies

Well, my plan is small and get expand time on. When it comes to small-scale businesses marketing is very crucial as marketing plus a very big role in attracting people and retaining customers to the business. Based on my low budget it is soft marketing strategies that I plan to adopt because it is a strategy that would me to build relationships and trust with my customers.

It is also a strategy for creating long-term goals and loyalty from customers. My aim in adopting this strategy is for me to engage with customers and potential customers as well. Also, the strategy involves follow-ups, creating a community online, personalized communication, and a lot more. Having a small-scale business I have planned to use platforms like WhatsApp Business, Facebook, and Instagram to run an interactive campaign with potential and current customers, before advancing to online promotion where I will create an ads and post it on Google Adsense so a larger audience can see it.
