The Music of Poetry
This flute rhythm I made for a poem. Please read the poem while listening to this rhythm
Alone
Quiet, alone, silent,
In the embrace of shadow,
In the embrace of hope,
To all creation,
To all meaning,
Then can only be silent,
Then grateful,
God,
In each of these breaths slipped into sin,
Like sand along the beach,
Countless,
Hugging the foam of coming waves,
Forgive me God.
