Entry for Falseyedols Cypher Challenge - S1E1
This is my entry for the Cypher Challenge by @falseyedols. The challenge was to take a music track provided by @falseyedols and add either a vocal or instrument track on top of it.
I added a simple guitar melody with some autowah in Bb minor pentatonic with some occasional 'blue' notes from bends. I also added a short guitar solo slightly after the mid-point of the song.

Wow brother this is so tasteful!!! Your guitar tone is excellent, the wah sounds great and the amount of reverb is perfect. You have an awesome amount of restraint in your playing, as well. A true testament to a skilled player. I play the guitar too, and don't give out guitar compliments unless they're due. Great job brother
Hey, thanks man! That is a huge compliment. I have always admired the guitar players that go for one tasteful not over a whole bunch of notes (not that that does not have its place). I actually recorded the solo three times before I got something I liked. The first two times I had to tell myself "YOU'RE DOING TOO MUCH!" But I eventually found my groove. Thanks for listening!

Sweet collaboration, my brothers. The guitar weaves into the groove nicely and I'd echo the comment about the understated approach reinforcing (instead of overpowering) the vibe of the original riff.
