Broken Baby Blue (original song)

Wrote after I saw a homeless man downtown in Nashville. Talked to him for awhile and he asked me to take his picture (I was on a photo shoot for school) under the Planet Hollywood sign so that he could send it to his mom and she'd know he was being successful. I developed my film and sent the picture to the rescue mission where he was staying. I never knew if he got it or not and always wonder.

Anyway, that always made me think of this man out on the streets just hoping to someday impress his mother. It made me think of how many people are on the streets right now with no home. Children and mothers and fathers and sons and daughters. Just lost. So I wrote this the day I mailed off his picture. I wish I could find my copy of the picture. If I do I'll share it in a later post.
