Damn matt. This is legit dude! Via bit brigade I end up at way -way- many chiptune related events and I've developed a bit of a love hate with the sound pallette, so you should take it as a doubly legit compliment that I really really enjoyed this. Great massaging in the midrange to get all the square chippy sounds living together and forward in the same space. Super slick man. Feel like we come from the same vaguely vgm-math-but-not-a-cliche headspace on our electronic ventures.
You should be consistently releasing stuff, man! Here's hoping @dsound throws you (and me) some love!
Thank you!! Chiptune can be fun but I am with you, the aesthetic is pretty limited, there's only so much time I can spend listening to it. I think it's more of a coincidence right now that I am making these super chippy sounds and art haha. Glad you enjoyed it dude!!!
Like you said I should be consistently releasing stuff, my main goal in 2018 is to release at least one song per month so we will see how that goes.
What a tune, love the progression and all the change-ups. Super cool intense moment closer to the end and then a boss breakdown. Great way to put it as "stream of consciousness", I can see that, yet it's still a very complete little story being told. And yea, the sound design on it is lush. Really enjoyed it, you made it your own for sure :)

Just checked it out again on better headphones and loving all the little intricacies, especially when the arp goes lower, and the bassline comes in, jeez, like the whole mood switch just has a whole next level impression :)
What makes it cool is that it's very unusual to what I usually listen to music, and breaking away from genres is what keeps things fresh :)
