This is What Happens When....

You get two dope producers together that have been itching to do their own podcast: You're going to get a great theme song!!!! @elimence and I really came together on this one, and are proud to lead out our podcast with this tasty jam. Here's a break down of what you're hearing:

The Beat:

This is an old one I re-remembered in the archives. It used to feature synth work done by my highly talented (pitch perfect) nephew, but I somehow lost the sample. Going back and listening to it without that, as well as the original sample I used from an old record, I found I actually still liked it more minimal, and decided to post a short clip to my Instagram. Elimence heard it and said "that's the one!" and we decided it would be a great, high energy start to our show. The drums are nice and punchy, the hats and extra percussion is absolutely bonkers (sometimes I pat myself on the back on these like "damn fool you made this" lol) and the segment of the track we used is perfect with the narration.

Voice/Announcer:

Elimence got his lovely and beautiful wife to record the words, and Elimence (in Elimence fashion) chopped her vocals up, pitched them down half an octave, and gave them this dope glitchy/robotic feel we thought was absolutely perfect. We wanted a soothing and sexy voice to announce us and our show, and his wife totally nailed it!!

I am apart of a radio show on @msp-waves called Voices from the Mountains #vfmradio. Every Saturday, 3-5am UTC you can hear my beautiful voice along with my host mates @intuitivejakob, @lpfaust, and @elimence.
