Celebrating the month of the birthday of universal composer and master of baroque music, one of my favorites. It could be said that there is a before and after J.S. Bach, because with his compositions and counterpoint studies he marked a change and evolution in music, he has been a source of inspiration for other great masters such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Félix Mendelssohn, Robert Schumann, Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms, Richard Wagner, Richard Strauss and Gustav Mahler to more recent musicians such as Arnold Schönberg, Paul Hindemith, Ígor Stravinski, Heitor Villa-Lobos or Astor Piazzolla, and me (hahaha).
But I am not going to extend myself writing about this master of masters, today I pay tribute to J. S. Bach with my mandolin, with my version of the Second movement of the Concert for two violins in Dm (BWV 1043)
There are many versions of these concerts but I think there are few versions in mandolin and that's why I want to know the opinion of musicians and music lovers like: @mariusfebruary, @prc, @betamusic, @ilazramusic, @Stellabelle, @armandolnrs, @atomcollector,, @anomadsoul, @coruscate, @d-pend, @davidfar, @luzcypher, @passion-ground, @bengy, @donatello, @dreamrafa, and many more in this wonderfull platform.
Please leave your comment in the corresponding section. I will know how to thank you very much.
Accompanied always by the popular formation is the academic formation that every musician should have and by studying the great masters like Bach we can reach a higher musical and spiritual level.
With affection.
