Dsound #3 : Cai Luong : the traditional music of my country in the 20th century
Cai Luong is a characteristic melody of Southern land. In other words, the South of Vietnam is the place where Cai Luong is derived.
This is the only kind of music that Vietnamese people hear in the 20th century. Now Cai Luong is still, but very few people know how to sing this song. Until now, in 2018 only a few older people heard this kind of music.
Cai Luong is divided into two categories:
Type 1: These are songs about human life, songs about couples, songs about family love and love of the country.
Type 2: Made in China, singers sing songs with melodies that are similar to Chinese songs .. They dressed up in antique movies,
The singer acts as an actor to film the movie. in that they use singing instead of words.
Theatrical forms such as singing, cai luong are called drama. It is a drama, not a musical, because the composer does not compose music but just composes lyrics according to the available music, so as to suit the development with the emotional tone of the story.
