DRY FASTING: THE ULTIMATE PATH TO LONGEVITY

Animals generally use dry fasting for healing. When they get very sick or wounded, they retreat for rest and refuse to take in food or water until they get better. Humans used to have the same instinct, until the advances of civilization replaced it with readily available food and medicine, and culture took over to dictate when and what we eat.

What is dry fasting?
Dry fasting is a complete abstinence from both food and water for a defined time.

As your body stops counting on external water and turns on your fat cells for hydration in addition to food energy. When body move further into ketosis. As you get past the body's natural "fight or flight" response the headache subsides.

Fasting is a wonderful way to reset spiritual coding that effects the mind and body.

Fun fact for dry fasting: As your body continues breaking down fat cells for energy and hydration, it will also turn to scar tissue and break it down, removing or drastically reducing scars.

Your organs also reverse age as they expel toxins stored in fat cells in and around the organs.

As your organs reverse age, it will begin to improve the whole body: Skin elasticity, hair follicle regeneration (thicker hair and return to natural youthful color), increased bone strength, improves joints, kills internal disease (along with alkalizing the body, fasting is one of the best things for removing cancer), improved senses (especially vision), increased natural hormone production, and cognitive functioning.

What to expect during dry-fast?
While dry fasting you may start feeling very raw and vulnerable. It feels as if all of your fears and blocks are right in front of you and you must face them, like it or not. With this in mind, if you're ready to integrate, fast.

You feel very connected to your inner guidance, and connection with your spirit guides gets much more good than normally, even.

You may experience a deep, restful sleep at night. Which is quite helpful for people who have insomnia.

Your creativity "flow" more and you step deeper into your true creative passions. This helps with manifesting more abundance, for obvious reasons.

Fasting amplifies spiritual abilities and access to the higher planes! 💜

Hi @starangel! Good post. I wrote about tea fasting last week. I agree that fasting is a powerful healing technique, but my only issue with dry fasting is that you are depriving your body of the water it needs to flush out all of the "bad stuff" which is broken down during the fast. It looks like another commentor also mentioned this. Check out my "tea fasting" article if/when you get a chance. I think you will find some info-gems in it. Regardless, you have been putting out some interesting content, and so I have followed you. Thank you, @transcript-junky! In India fasting is quite common especially among Indian women. And there is a one-day festival called "Karva Chauth", in which married women dry-fast from sunrise to moonrise. And we do tea fast most often. In my opinion dry-fasting is way more effective than wet-fasting. But you should first go on wet fasting and then move to dry fasting.

You don't need to worry about depriving your body of the water. Our body is quite capable to fill the requirement of water. And even your skin cells turn into method of absorbtuion as your skin’s pores develop a greater capacity to absorb water through the skin and in a good clean environment will readily absorb moisture from the air. ☺

@starangel - I'm listening to what you're saying, but I STILL have my reservations - and the "cultural" argument just doesn't convince me. After all, in Africa women cut off part of their GENITALS for cultural reasons. I understand that in yoga there is the concept that we can breath prana through the air, so I can AT LEAST get my head around that. But as for the dry fasting being HEALTHIER than wet-fasting I would need to see SOME sort of hard scientific evidence. Please do not take OFFENSE to this comment. I am merely playing "devil's advocate"...

It is very interesting to read this. I have instinctively been drawn towards dry fasting and often criticised for it.

And as the barrier between what is expected of me and what I FEEL like doing diminishes, I have noticed myself doing this more and more, usually for a 24h period. After which I always feel much better than before!

Same here. I also have been drawn towards dry fasting instinctively, and it gave me so many amazing results. But I always did prior preparations for dry-fasting. Wet fasting is a good start, instead of directly jumping to dry fasting.

personally i think you should water fast for 24 hours, then when the liver goes into keytosis breaking down fats you will get water when the fat is broken down

Wish more people were open to try fasting. I can't count the number of people who tried to scare me away from dry fasting. Just like many things that people try to scare me to not do it turns out to be amazing lol.

Hehe.. Well, Awareness is spreading now. Maybe now people will get the hint that ~ there's something new and profound is happening all over the world, and now more and more people are awakening to this "New reality" which is quite old in another sense (If you track the cycle, you will know.). People scare us to not to do certain things because they are scared of the losing their grip over you. ☺

Yes, it is fear based mind control and the people who push this on other people really don't know how they've been manipulated.

There is also fasting mimicking, discovered by Valter Longo. He did many studies on fasting and discovered a way to get the same or nearly the same benefits of fasting but allows people to eat a little. Others took his research and have started their own.

They find that if you eat 3 meals or less, each 300 calories or less, with a 4 to 1 ratio of fat to carbs + protein, you can get significant effects of fasting.

Probably not a big deal to someone who already ca fast, but for millions who even dread the idea, it could be a good stepping stone.

I experiment with both Fasting and Mimicking. Now, I'm going to experiment with dry fasting too. Thanks.
