A couple of days had passed and things got quiet, almost too quiet. Marty had a feeling it was the calm before the storm and that something was stirring on the horizon. He couldn't quite put his finger on it but something big was coming their way. As he was reading his morning paper and enjoying some alone time there was a sudden feeling that brought chills down his spine. Someone was watching him. Marty quickly turned his head to the right and there she was in all her glory just a couple of inches away from him.
"What the f@ck!? You scared me! How long have you been standing there?" Marty was just playing with himself a moment ago and was a bit scared she saw more than he wanted to.
"To move silently is kind of what ninjas do, remember? Where is the boss, I need to talk to him about the war that is starting." Her figure was breathtaking but Marty was more concerned with her killing abilities than with her looks.
"About what? Are you f@king kidding me? No one tells me anything around here anymore. I think he is in his study room."
If you are not already a part of a gang, you should consider joining one or creating a new one for your friends to join. Many benefits lie in cooperation with others and we are well aware of how playing with others is not only more fun but easier too. That is why we have created new upgrades and special things for gang members. Some of them are already available and some will be in a couple of days. We are sure that you are going to enjoy using them as much as we have enjoyed creating them for you.
If you are already a member of a gang, simply click on the gang tab and you will see some new and exciting things. There are now buildings, diplomacy, and deposit options for your gang, each with different specifics about them.
It does not matter how many gang members you have, they all fit in every gang building :) These buildings are shared which means that all members get specific benefits from them. Gang headquarters will unlock upgrades for other buildings. It functions similarly to your regular personal headquarters. The embassy will grant you diplomatic options that we will go into a bit later, Military academy will reduce the time for unit recruitment, and there are 3 buildings that will increase your production of resources; Scientific lab, Weapon development center, and Distillery school.
Build them together!
Each member can participate in upgrading of the buildings. You can easily send as many resources you feel comfortable with to any building upgrade. If all members pitch in, you will have high-level buildings in very little time and great benefits for everyone. All you need to do is put in the amount of resources you want to send to that building and click on "send resources". Each building has info about how many resources are needed and what percentage will you be sending so it is easy to keep track of what is going on. We will not go into gang bosses deciding on mandatory donations or not but we will say that you can easily see which member donated how much resources and to what building.
Yes, Gang wars will soon become a new thing in drugwars game and will unlock doors to even more prizes. You will be able to start a war against another gang that will last a couple of days and players who are in gang wars will receive Future tokens when winning. No one will be able to stop a war once it starts, it will last until its natural finish. This does not mean that you will not be able to fight other people who you are not at war with but you will get extra prizes only when battling those at war. Diplomacy will also be an option where you will be able to reach certain deals with other gangs and not be able to attack an ally.
Some things like war and alliance are still being worked on, they will be available to you in a couple of days but buildings are already ready to use. You can start sending resources to them and upgrading them as a preparation for your upcoming wars. We are looking forward to seeing your first gang wars and are very excited about it. Are you?
Wars. He loved it when his intuition was right, something really was stirring on the horizon. The only question now was about who is going to war and how can he avoid getting shot in the crossfire. An alliance maybe? If only there was a way for him to contact different gang leaders and get to know them a bit better...

I wonder if how much future they will grant to the winning side of the war. Perhaps high valued trophies or zones can justify the intent of entering a war. Anyway, congratulations to the next phase of drugwars. I am sure some players are loving it. Cheers!

It was one of the top listed active DApps and paid rewards in STEEM until recently. Now they've pulled back from STEEM, but you can still log in via STEEM. It now allows several logins and uses a token that has nothing to do with STEEM.
Agreed, this is how they plan to fund their future developments. But you must admit that they are improving the dapp at a VERY fast rate. I am surprised.
But the way it is constructed is still in a Blockchain way right ?
Too bad for the Steem implementation but Steem Inc should have sponsored them with a part of the reward pool if they wanted them to stay imo.
Steem Monsters is slowly doing the same thing also.

But it's not a DApp. If it is, what blockchain does it transact on? Improving? Honestly I was never a fan of the game or concept, but was willing to play a little to support my STEEM investment. I have a limited amount of time and attention, so I'm moving on because this doesn't move the needle at all for me.
