Drug Wars on Steem - Is It Worth Your Time?
Hey guys! I accidentally pressed share on a Drug Wars fight and how here we are. I don't want to spam the chain so I'll try post something at least a little bit relevant and useful
So, is Drug Wars really worth your time? Short answer: no.
I've criticised Drug Wars before on this post and even got a response from @hightouch. Ultimately, I was won over to their side but sadly the fight system did NOT deliver that his vision and ultimately I feel like Drug Wars is a dying game.
If there was a more competitive aspect, or even started off as a game with NO rewards THEN introduced Steem rewards I'd see it as more of a success. However, since it promised high ROI from the get go, I don't see it going very far since most people played as an investment, not a game.
I have a lot of respect and I can see a lot of potential in the team @futureshock, but sadly I think Drug Wars was a lot of time in the wrong direction. Hopefully the team learns from their mistakes and STOP draining valuable time and resources into a failing game and move onto something the community will actually enjoy and find useful. However, many investors in Drug Wars will be very frustrated at this endeavor.
Then again, you can't win them all!

Not being able to see what I'm attacking, without sending a scout first has ruined it for me. I hope they can make some positive changes and make it fun to raid again but at the moment, its just trying to claw some of my investment back.

A little off-topic here, but still game related. I see you have been participating in magic dice and drug wars and was wondering what you would think of my Minefield game that was recently concluded. If I was to make the game single-player and automated, do you think people would pay to play it and possibly win some Steem?
