Do you treat other people like they matter?
While observing my society, their engagement and interaction with people around them I have noticed few things. Firstly, people can recognize when you are on their side. In my opinion, functional society can exist only if we treat each other like everyone matters. Do we? In my surrounding, when people share good thing about their life, people don’t necessarily respond positively. They don’t get encouragement for their life. However, people need so little encouragement that is so difficult to get sometimes.
On the other hand, all of us were encouraging people that we love for sure. For our loved ones, it comes without effort. What about people that we don’t know so well? I believe encouragement is pretty much needed here on Steemit too. All of us are part of something that is being created and evolving in the same time.
Let me say first how I see encouragement. Encouragement is the action of giving someone support, confidence or hope. It takes a lot of heart to love your team-mates as yourself and realizing that victory for them is victory for you. I am listening from my childhood :“Treat others they way you want to be treated.” I felt the true wisdom of that through my life experience. As only experience can make us to be wiser. In so many situations, while being on the “edge”, the reason I was making amazing performances was because of people by my side believing in me. I have realized all of us have that potential. Today I want to encourage anyone in manifesting the best that they wish for themselves. If I can assist in any way, by words or actions to inspire others to bring their full potential, I will. That is my high.
I have met so many people all over the world. Majority of them had something in common. They were opening themselves to me. How come so many strangers had a need to open up themselves to me? I have realized latter, during my spiritual journey, that all of us attract each other through out auras. Moreover, I have realized that everyone’s soul already knows everything. It has all the wisdom, but it doesn’t have the words. For that reason you have that light bulb effect in your head. We love that so much, don’t we?! It feels if you are listening things that you already have known, only you couldn’t express it. Now you can understand how a little encouragement to others can change the whole perspective for them. It can change their life for better completely.
We are so powerful as individuals. It is so good when people come and tell you “my life is much better now”. It is amazing when you see expression in peoples eyes while encouraging them for things I believe they inner self already knows. You can remind them. I use myself as reminder. As I also had and will have, hopefully, so many reminders from new people to come.
I am excited about that.

I really enjoyed how you see that our souls have all wisdom and knowledge that we need, and what we need is to 'trigger' it. In a way, we need encouragement to listen to our hearts or what we already know.
I loved the line:
No wonder you chose it as your title. We often tend to focus on ourselves, family and friends. However, for the best outcome for the community, ourselves, and everything, we need to treat everyone like they matter. Everyone deserves that, and it's not something that they earn after they become our friends or so. Great post!

Isn't that odd? I've seen that before as well. I used to be upset by this and hurt... and now I realize - that is not my problem. I can recognize it, move on , and still keep my joy! :)

I love so many ideas in this. For example, that everyone matters and treating them as such. And the concept of us having the wisdom within, just unable to voice it.

When you don't expect, you are allowing life to bring you what you need.
This is quite true I think, that we draw those into our lives or recognize things in others that either brings out more in us or explains more to us , once you are able to connect with people like that then you know which connections are real and that is encouraging to connect with more.
Until like an ant colony you all consciously know what you need to know but together you know everything, the support structure of this web is the passive encouragement most fall back on to reach higher ground.

You hit so many awesome points on this subject @mandalaflower. I love your heart, and I completely agree that our souls already know everything, those light bulb moments are awesome when they happen. Everyone deserves to be treated with love and respect, I have always tried to treat people the way I want to be treated, but I must confess that in some cases that hasn't been easy, especially when that person doesn't care how he or she treats people.. its not always easy to be the bettter person, but I have always tried to see past those things. This was great, thank you for sharing your wisdom with us!
That happens as you have expectation from life to be treated well from the same person. Why? If they are on lower level then you, its not possible to treat you the same.
On the other hand, life will bring unexpected beautiful things that you never even think of. So know one thing, you already earned it. So don’t worry about those people who don’t give back the same, life will. And you are learning in the same time to give and not to expect anything in return, as that is true giving. You will always stay with only those kind of people who give that care back. Sit, relax and observe. Who is not worthy to be in your life, you should let them go.
