Weekend outside Berlin with Blackie ... 100 meters high and more than 1 km away!
On Friday, almost without planning, I went to visit a friend and his family in northern Germany. The reasons were two, the first that I was already desperate to leave Berlin for a while, I was already a bit saturated with the city, and the second to do all the tests possible with Blackie.
You know who is Blackie eh?
For the tests we enjoyed two different locations. Two small typical German villages. The first was a town where everything revolves around the dairy factory that is in the center and the cows.
Nothing else.
To the left in the center of the photo ... Do you see the walls that contain the heaps of dried cow shit? They were part of the Berlin Wall. That was its original use before becoming the "Berlin Wall" and after it collapsed, not knowing what to do with all that, they decided to use it for its original function ...

The other was an even smaller town further north.

And well, Blackie in his long distance test where he reached 1100 meters, had the opportunity to visit another town.

The truth is that buying the Fly more combo is necessary for the Mavic Air. Three batteries come and with that you can really enjoy the drone, especially at the beginning when you are starting. If you really want to use it for something other than simply fly by the simple fact of flying, you have to dedicate time to learn all the possible and necessary adjustments ... and there are many.
But the experience is very rewarding and the result spectacular. Honestly, I'm impressed with everything that can be done with this little piece (literally) of hardware. It has surpassed all my expectations in all aspects, maneuverability, reach, image quality and video.

And yes!!! Lot of space to fly without the restrictions of the city. It is really bad in Berlin! ;)
