Dream Recount ☁️ 5:05AM ACST 🕔 13/4/17 🗣
Isn't it amazing how dreams can seem like they last for ages, yet in real life they last a fraction of the time?
This is a recount of a dream that I had after I watched the live video recording of Grant Cardone's first 10X Growth Conference in Miami, Florida.
The event was great! It started at like 10 or 11pm my time so I stayed up to watch it start and after some hours of the event, they cut to a lunch break and halted the recording. It was about 1AM my time at that stage and I though this would be a good opportunity to take a nap so I set my alarm to wake me in 45 minutes at about 1:45AM, however I didn't wake up until way later in the morning because I had set the alarm at 1:45PM instead of AM!!
I watched the whole thing over some time once the recordings were provided online and is probably what inspired this dream.

I was brought into a small room and asked to sit down with Grant Cardone who was sitting opposite to me across a bench. He took out an object from under the desk, it was a cracked, white piece of ceiling tile which was framed in a dull, wooden frame. He held it out in front of me and asked me, what is wrong with this?
I immediately though Grant meant in a business sense, so I thought for a few seconds and erred and I began to list what was wrong with this piece of ceiling tile.
It's fragile and brittle
It's dependent on support by the frame
It's not growing or trying new patterns
It takes the same shape throughout itself
It's small
It's framed, so it will not grow or change shape
It's dull and not attractive
It's cheap and uninspiring
It has no purpose anymore
No one knows about it
And then Jarrod or Grant told me to touch it or press it when I was listing it's problems,
I felt that it was weak and brittle so I mentioned it.
Then Grant told me I was going to speak to the audience (I was attending a massive event, with 10 thousand attendees.) I said ok!
I was excited and a bit nervous as I hadn't ever spoken to a large crowd of thousands but I wanted to though!
I walked out of the room and entered a passageway that led me to an American looking football stadium, next thing I was sitting in the audience seating next to Jacob and Ashlee and I believe Jack was there too. I was discussing the talk I just had with Grant and that I will be speaking on the stage today.
After that scene, I flashed back to the small room with Grant and he passed me another object, this was a piece of plastic in the shape of a set of flat stairs (It was one bland color-either grey or light brown)
He asked me again, what are the problems with this?
It is linear
It takes slow, shallow steps
It's hard and in-flexible
It doesn't go to huge heights or take risks
The end.

Funky dream, man. I haven't been across these conferences. Worth a watch, you reckon?
Got a link to a good one?
I purchased the live stream recording for 2017 and 2018 event, they are great and worth a watch I believe!
